2 more use of your ink letter stamps

My ink stamps are always somewhere handy in the house as I use them quite often. In today's post I'll show you 2 quick ways how to use them, or click here to see my ink letter lamp shade project from a previous blog post.

1) Decorating Presents

Using plain brown paper, ink letters and simpe ribbon creates a minimalist look which will make your present stand out in a big colorful pile and the little stamps will add a lovely personal touch. Below is my presents for a baby girl's Christening just recently.

Using newspaper is super affordable, environment friendly and with the right accessories it can be pretty and fancy looking. The photo below is from Christmas.

2) Make your own bespoke wall art

This is very easy to do. Get an ugly painting in an ugly frame from the flea market, or from a garage sale maybe from your father in law's shed or from your aunty's house. Paint the frame, ditch the painting, replace with a white sheet, decide on the content for your text, stamp it on, assemble back and hang on your wall. Bam!, done, you got a cool piece that I guarantee people will ask' where did you get it?'. Below is mine, made for our home office / guest room with my husband's favorite quote.

Get your ink letter set from Avoca stores nationwide or from Industry in Temple Bar. Happy stamping everybody!
