Hi, I’m Dora, the mother of a little boy and the wife of an amazing husband. I’m originally from Budapest in Hungary and living in Dublin since 2007. My husband is Irish. We have a rescue mutt called Cooper who we love to bits (if only he barked less, but he can’t help it, he is a terrier after all). We all live in D15 in our little Semi-D. Some day we are hoping to move to the country and have a big house with a large garden. 

Straight out of college I got a very fashionable job in advertising but after 5 years I became disenchanted with the industry and moved to Ireland to escape. Here I met my husband while waitressing to make ends meet. Then I attended college to achieve a second qualification in an area where my true passion really lies…Interior Design!  

I’m now a stay-at-home mom and I couldn’t be happier. This is the most rewarding job so far and one I will never get bored of. Also I am my own boss …well, sort of ;).

My son is my biggest inspiration. For him I want to be better, I want to live better, more simply and be more appreciative of all the little things. I want to be the best I can be. And this is where my blog begins.

I intend for this blog to be an inspiration for Mothers and Families. I’ll write about our adventures in every day life. The projects we make, the food we eat and the ways we make our home a tiny bit more magical every day.
